UIE Japan running field trials for KoukouTV

UIE Japan announced the initial launch of its new KoukouTV product in Tokyo, Japan. KoukouTV turns your television into a digital photo frame connected to popular photo sharing services such as Flickr, Picasa, PhotoShare, etc. Our team is running 500 field trials from June 9 thru September 30, 2010 in Tokyo allowing users to bring 500 KoukouTV terminals into their homes. KoukouTV includes a STB (set-top box) terminal that connects with your TV and delivers internet-based photo-sharing services directly into your living room. Users can easily make changes to their albums and view photos instantly on the televisions of friends and family by simply connecting their TV to the KoukouTV terminal.
