UIEvolution links with Qualcomm as a member of their new 3Pre Program
As part of the focus of the program on integrating core, pre-loaded applications, UIEvolution joins the ranks along with five other companies in Qualcomm’s 3Pre program for the new Brew® Mobile Platform (Brew MP™) . According to the press release on GoMo News this morning, “Qualcomm is committed to advancing the reach of Brew MP, and subsequently delivering richer applications and better experiences to consumers using a range of devices across the world’s largest markets,” said Mitch Oliver, vice president of ecosystem development for Qualcomm.
Chris Ruff responds in the article, once again surmising why UIEvolution continues to build and strengthen these strategic ties, “UIEvolution has been working with Qualcomm since the early days of Brew, and with the launch of Brew MP we are able to extend our UIEngine products to deliver a truly compelling mobile experience,” said Chris Ruff, chief executive officer of UIEvolution. “By collaborating closely with Qualcomm, we are able to extend our software products to leverage the new capabilities of multimedia, graphics, windowing, networking and database integration available in Brew MP for our customers, which includes mobile operators, device makers and media companies.”
We are happy to be a key player in advancing the reach and experience on Brew MP™. If you are curious to see how first hand, find us this week at Uplinq 2010, Wednesday & Thursday (June 30-July 1) in the Uplinq Innovations Showcase, Booth #204.
