Chris Ruff

As President and CEO of UIEvolution, Chris is responsible for leading the company's growth, setting global strategy and driving sales and marketing execution. Chris is a true pioneer of the wireless industry since he joined UIEvolution in 2000 and is recognized as one of the most experienced individuals in the mobile market. He has grown UIEvolution into a global leader of software solutions to over 100 business customers and major brands such as ESPN, Disney and ATT. In December 2007, Chris led the successful repurchase of UIEvolution from Square Enix establishing UIE as an independent company with offices in the US and Japan.

Before becoming President and CEO, Chris worked with UIEvolution as VP of Marketing and VP of Finance, Senior Director of Product Management, and Director of Business Development. Prior to joining UIEvolution, Chris was co-founder and CEO of Aptelix Inc, where he was responsible for communicating the company's vision, defining product strategy and raising initial seed funding. Previously, Chris served as Product Manager for the Cobalt Group.

Chris graduated with Honors and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Chris was a Bradford Scholar (top 5% of class) and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. Chris also holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Montana.
