UIEvolution® Announces IT Access as a Value-Added Reseller

UIEvolution Platform and Tools and IT Access Partner to Deliver Consumer Electronics to Market Faster

UIEvolution (UIE), a leader in rich client and server software that enables leading companies to deliver dynamic multimedia experiences to consumers on any network and any device, today announced that IT Access, a company specializing in embedded systems technology and support services, has become a value-added reseller of the UIEvolution technology platform and development tool.

Through this agreement, IT Access will become an official reseller of UIEvolution technology with the ability to offer consulting, integration and development support to enable customers to quickly begin developing application software and middleware, thereby reducing time to market for new electronics. The UIEvolution middleware technology, UIEngine, speeds the development process by supplying a proven and seamless platform for integrating new interfaces and features on the device throughout the development process.

The collaboration simplifies development of portable devices by leveraging UIE's tool suite and platform technology. The componentized architecture of the UIEngine™ technology platform allows new features to integrate seamlessly during the device development process. This will allow device manufacturers to easily manipulate the reference UI and quickly customize products without impacting underlying architecture.

The IT Access support and training combined with the UIEngine platform enables rapid design, prototyping and deployment of consumer devices to meet demands of the portable consumer electronics product market. UIEngine delivers a robust development platform utilizing a very small base memory footprint that has a minimal impact on device power consumption while achieving high performance. The combination of design and development tools from UIEvolution, allows designers and developers to create, review and refine interfaces throughout the device production process.
